Clickedu and Qualiteasy integrate their tools into a global solution to be started next school year 2010-2011

The new enterprise agreement was born in the ITworldEdu 2009 and it will be presented at ITworldEdu 2010 next October

Barcelona, July the 12th, 2010. - The Catalan enterprises Clickedu and Qualiteasy have signed an agreement to jointly develop and market a new technology solution for education. Between the two companies, they are present in more than 5,000 schools and they serve to almost 3 million students all over Spain. The new technology solution is to be marketed next school year 2010 – 2011 and thanks to this agreement, they expect to double their presence in the next three years, reaching the 50% of the Spanish market.

This business alliance was born in the second edition of the ITworldEdu Summit, that took place in October, 2009. One of the main goals of ITworldEdu is, exactly, to encourage contacts between companies which allow them establishing trade agreements, promote collaborations and join efforts. The new solution will be presented at the third edition of ITworldEdu, the great meeting point between professionals in Education and ICT, to be held in EsadeForum in Barcelona, on October the 27th, 28th and 29th, 2010.

The agreement will allow Clickedu and Qualiteasy generating compatibilities between their tools of educational technology in order to make its implementation and use easier for the user.  It will also be part of this agreement a tool from the international company Faronics, a Canada-based Enterprise of which Qualiteasy distributes its products exclusively in the Spanish market.

Thus, this new educational solution will consist of the academic management platform Clickedu, the quality management tool Qualiteasy Edu and the software for classroom control Insight of Faronics.

Given the importance that digital contents have on the School 2.0 model, both companies are establishing collaboration agreements with various publishing houses and content platforms, and these are already available in ClickEdu.

Thanks to this project Clickedu and Qualiteasy will reach a higher presence in learning centers, both nationally and internationally. Currently, between the two companies, they are already present in more than 10 countries spread across Europe, Asia and America.

ITworldEdu 2010, meeting point towards excellence in educational technology

ITworldEdu 2010 is the third edition of the great meeting point between professionals in Education and the ICT sector. Its goal is to jointly find solutions to promote ICT in teaching. It is an open space to learn, exchange ideas, promote contacts, establish trade agreements and present the last developments in educational technology.

This meeting, organized by CETEI- Joan XXIII Foundation, is promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya (the regional Government in Catalonia), Barcelona City Council and Catalan companies from the ICT sector. It also has the collaboration of the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona (Barcelona Chamber of Commerce).
